Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts from all over the East Coast (more than 15,000 strong) visited the Whitewater Challengers Adventure Camp last year! We hope you'll join them in 2008, for a day or a weekend packed full of fun and adventure. Choose from five trip offerings, perfect for every age and experience level! 1. Arrive Friday night or Saturday:  Enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails Saturday and Adventure Camp programs Saturday evening.  Raft Sunday.  Head for home. (Free Scout T-shirt for each participant rafting on Sunday).

2. Arrive Friday nigh or Saturday:  Raft Saturday.

Enjoy Saturday evening programs at the Adventure Camp. Depart Sunday.

3.  Join us just for the day: Raft...Head for home.  (Free $15.00 Scout T-shirt for each participant rafting on Sunday).

1. Please remember to pick-up your free river lunch at the rafting center in the morning. There's no helicopter drops on the river!

Living History Programs...

take us back to the 19th century, offering insights into the life and times of native Americans, Civil War soldiers, life-long coal miners, or wild west cowboys. 

Merit Badge...

work can be easily incorporated into your Adventure Camp weekend. For instance, a number of the requirements for Canoeing Merit Badge or Whitewater Merit Badge can be completed during your visit.  Need help with a particular question? Our guides and Adventure Camp staff are always eager to help.

Special Deals...

are available on our Scout Raft Rally Weekends. Rafting trips and camping fees are reduced across the board, and for groups who raft on Sunday, there’s an additional $15.00 per person value – a free Scouting whitewater T-shirt for each participant.

Hiking and Swimming...
are available at nearby Hickory Run State Park. Dozens of hiking trails are carefully mapped, and the sandy beach at Hickory Run Lake is a popular attraction. Nearby, the famous Boulder Field offers a glimpse of the last ice age, when glaciers deposited massive loads of rock and debris across the Pocono landscape. A visit to Hickory Run is the perfect addition to your day on the river!
 
District & Council Outings...
are easy and exciting at the Whitewater Adventure Camp. No need for countless volunteer committees, or endless planning and logistics. We take care of all that. From meals, to campsite assignments, to programs and activities, our outdoor staff can make this the easiest and most memorable event ever! Groups of 2500 or more can be accommodated. Make your next District or Council trip one that your leaders can enjoy just as much as your kids. A day or a weekend program at the Whitewater Adventure Camp is ready and waiting for you and your Scouts.

was never so easy! Plan a District or Council-wide event at the Adventure Camp. Bring as many as 2500 Scouts and leaders. We handle the logistics so you can relax, have fun, and figure out how best to use the hundreds (or thousands) of dollars you’ll earn from the event!
